Butterflies have always felt, to us, like symbols of quiet optimism. Their transformations are so delicate yet so powerful, a reminder that beauty often emerges from stillness and patience. Our first Papillons collection captured this spirit, and the response was overwhelming. It felt natural to return to that world and explore it further, embracing new colours and forms that speak to the same sense of joy and renewal.
A Kaleidoscope of Papillons Part 2 is our way of celebrating evolution, nature, creativity, and the spaces we call home.

When the original Papillons collection took flight, it captured that spirit in a celebration of nature’s grace and the joy of colour. Now, with A Kaleidoscope of Papillons Part 2, the story continues… as if a new species has emerged, this collection introduces a new species in new colourways, expanding the delicate world first imagined in A Kaleidoscope of Papillons.
Each new piece carries the same sense of movement and poetry, yet feels distinct, the wings have changed, their patterns more intricate, their colours deeper and more vibrant. These new butterflies belong to the same enchanted garden, but they shimmer with a different light.
Along with their powerful messaging and the incredible diversity of the butterfly, from their iridescent wings to their fleeting, graceful flight in their many hues and patterns, these little creatures offered endless inspiration.
The popularity of our first Papillons collection and the many different colours and species that butterflies lend themselves to is what inspired Wendy to revisit this world with fresh eyes and a renewed palette. Thus, Kaleidoscope of Papillons Part 2 was born: a joyful continuation that honours transformation and the beauty of evolution, both in nature and within our interiors.
The symbolism of the butterfly

Inspired by many species
Our butterflies nod to nature’s astonishing variety, the iridescence of Morpho blues, the bold contrast of Monarchoranges, the delicate tails of Swallowtails, the regal Purple Emperor, and the graphic punctuation of Red Admirals. You’ll find these references in the veining, dotted borders, and kaleidoscopic symmetries that run through the design. Each detail celebrates the poetry of wings in flight and the wonder that comes from observing nature up close.
The colour story
Each new butterfly carries her own spectrum of hues, with dominant tones of purple, lilac, blue, red, and orange . These shades were chosen to evoke the ever-changing light and vividness found in nature’s own palette whilst making the perfect addition to our existing colourways in the original collection.
Purples and lilacs bring opulence and calm, making them perfect for bedrooms, salons, and dining rooms. Blues span from porcelain to peacock, inviting calm and luminosity, while reds add optimism and warmth, creating bold focus to any space. whilst, oranges offer warmth and glow. Each colourway feels distinct yet deeply connected, part of a larger conversation between nature and design.
