Take floor decor to a new level with A Kaleidoscope of Papillons, our colourful trio of butterfly-shaped rugs. This creative collection breathes new life into any small space and has a positive story to tell.

‘Kaleidoscope’ is the term frequently used to describe a group of colourful butterflies, while ‘Papillon’ is the French word for butterfly. Bringing the two together perfectly sums up this trio. Synonymous with beauty, butterflies also represent freedom, lightness and joy. Embracing this, A Kaleidoscope of Papillons shares an uplifting story of transformation, positive change and growth.

The individual pieces consist of a yellow butterfly with a sprinkle of lilac; a grounded neutral of darker tones with a sprinkle of aqua; and a third that incorporates all of these, plus pink, orange, gold and a sprinkle of purple. The result is a curated palette that sits beautifully together and complements the wider Wendy Morrison collection.

Full of positive symbolism and life-enhancing colour, A Kaleidoscope of Papillons can settle in a hallway, create an eye-catching vignette in a window bay, provide stepping stones to and from bed, or make a dressing area look and feel extra special. Just let your imagination take flight!

Our Story

In 2004 freelance fashion designer Wendy Morrison accepted a commission to design a rug collection. It was a turning point; the perfect match for her love of colour and pattern, combined with storytelling. It was the start of a design journey that comes from the heart, that puts passion and craftsmanship at the centre of every project, and strives to connect people, places, art, ideas and nature.
