We are proud to be a Certified Label STEP Fair Trade Partner, working with the non-profit organisation committed to the wellbeing of weavers and workers in the handmade carpet industry. STEP’s fair-trade requirements include the prohibition of child labour; safe working conditions; fair wages; and sustainable, eco-friendly production.
Label STEP promises to improve the working and living conditions of carpet weavers and workers, promoting a sustainable carpet industry by ensuring the highest international labour and environmental standards are upheld.
