Playful, beautiful, thoughtful and inspiring, hand-knotted rug A Mughal Painting Part 2, like her predecessor, draws the past into the present, and shines a light on the beauty and importance of Mother Nature.

This design combines all elements of nature, from the clouds in the sky to the river running through the mountains, with everything playing a part in keeping the land fertile and bountiful. Horses gallop freely while swooping cranes overhead symbolise long life and happiness. Darting swallows and our much-loved phoenix add to the magic of this piece.

The backdrop, with delicate outlines of flowers in gold, spreads right to the edges, further enhancing the joy of nature, a sense of freedom and an open outlook. This soft, golden pattern grounds the design and allows each shimmering colour, including mindful lilac, to stand out.

This gentle design will draw the eye again and again, revealing something new each time, sharing the joy and wonder of the world around us.

It was a turning point; the perfect match for her love of colour and pattern, combined with storytelling. It was the start of a design journey that comes from the heart, that puts passion and craftsmanship at the centre of every project, and strives to connect people, places, art, ideas and nature.
