B Corp
We are proud to be a Certified B Corporation, also known as B Corp, a growing movement of companies that are reinventing business for the benefit of all people and our planet.
What is B Corporation?
A Certified B Corporation is a business committed to social and environmental responsibility. In 2006, non-profit organisation B Lab™ started the drive towards a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. B Lab™ is responsible for certifying B Corporations, which are companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
The certification process is rigorous, with companies required to score 80 points in five key areas, governance, workers, community, environment, and customers, while providing evidence of responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity, and corporate transparency.
The result is a global movement of companies dedicated to working to create a fairer, more sustainable, working world. We are now part of a growing community of more than 8,000 businesses worldwide that have certified as B Corps. The B Corp community in the UK is one of the largest and fastest-growing in the world, with more than 1,700 companies spanning a range of industries.
Why we chose B Corp and why it’s so important to us
The journey to being a Certified B Corporation is a long and arduous one – we started the process in 2021 and became B Corp Certified in April 2024. The rigorous process underscores our commitment to working towards a fairer, more transparent, society. The aim of B Lab – to use business for good – resonates with our personal and business values. We believe businesses have a responsibility to consider people and our planet. Becoming a Certified B Corporation is evidence of our dedication to sustainability and ethical practices. We realise the journey is an ongoing one, but this represents a significant milestone.
