Moondance

A four-part rug collection based around colour, effervescent design Moondance evolved naturally from luxurious, colour-drenched, hand-knotted Kujaku. First introduced in March 2025, the collection unfolded gradually over the course of a year, with each piece revealed in alignment with a different season.

The Power of Colour

It has long been recognised that colour has an impact on emotion and human response. Colour can be associated with productivity, creativity and relaxation. Through design, we love to celebrate the power of colour, and the many ways in which it can stimulate, soothe, cheer, calm and nurture us. From bright hues that boost our wellbeing by their sheer exuberance, to the rich, nature-inspired, shades that evoke our planet at its most beautiful and encourage us to respect it, there is a special place for every colour in life.

Powerful Symbols

Moondance weaves together rich Far Eastern symbolism, where each element speaks to life and renewal. The evergreen pine represents longevity, resilience, and strength, echoed in luminous gold tones that heighten the design’s sense of quiet luxury. Mountains bring stability and a spiritual connection between heaven and earth, while blooming peonies symbolise joy, prosperity, love, and compassion. Deeper-hued chrysanthemums add balance and optimism, creating the feeling of stepping into a flourishing garden - a celebration of life lived in harmony with nature.
