Healing Florals is inspired by Wendy’s earlier hand-knotted design and collector’s piece, Geisha Florals. Continuing a story of resilience, grace and quiet beauty. Created as a hand-tufted companion, it brings the spirit of the original into everyday life, inviting moments of pause, reflection and grounding.
Inspired by a journey through Nepal, Geisha Florals drew upon the symbolism and spirituality woven into everyday life, from temple walls to intricate Thangka paintings, where colour, craft and devotion exist in harmony. As our first limited edition piece, Geisha Florals was created in a series of seven - a number long held as sacred, symbolising completeness, balance and spiritual awakening. Though rare and heirloom in nature, she is a piece to be lived with, experienced, and cherished.
Healing Florals carries this philosophy forward as her hand-tufted companion, designed to accompany our daily rituals. Its construction allows for a beautiful density of colour, where a grounding black wool base provides stability, introspection and a sense of inward focus, allowing the luminous Tencel healing florals to emerge vividly. A delicate gold border frames the composition, with warmth and abundance.
Each floral is chosen for her restorative energy as inspired by Buddhist teachings, as well as the subtle healing properties of the associated colour, the pink lotus embodies compassion, emotional renewal, and spiritual clarity; marigolds in warm oranges radiate vitality, joy and gently energising of body and mind; chrysanthemums in golden yellow foster clarity, balance and mindful presence; orchids and jasmine in pure white evoke tranquillity, purity and calm, supporting reflection and gentle restoration.
